Xanadu is a mother cat here at Kittenberry Castle. She is a solid white Exotic Shorthair Persian. She is extremely spoiled and she likes to lick spoons. Each morning when I make a sandwich for my husbands lunch, she jumps on the counter because she knows I will place the spoon near the sink that I used to spread the mayonnaise on his sandwich. She is addicted to the mayonnaise spoon, every morning -like clockwork. Anytime I open that silverware drawer, even if it is to spoon yogurt into a dish, or maybe ice cream, here she comes running. She will stand on the counter meowing at the spoon. She wants to lick the residual off. Isn't that funny?
Xanadu is my best friend. We have a special bond between us.
