Hello there. My name is Amy.
If you see a kitten that says "Reserved", that means that someone has already paid a deposit to hold the kitten until they are able to come and pick it up. You do not necessarily have to reserve a kitten. If a kitten is ready to leave, you can just come over, meet it, (perhaps) buy it and take it home. I will not hold a particular kitten over 12 hours, without a deposit. Just let me know what suits you the best, and I will try and accommodate you.
I HAVE KITTENS DISPLAYED AT 1 CENT ON THEIR PROFILE PAGES, BECAUSE I USE THIS WEBSITE FOR DISPLAY PURPOSES ONLY. I DO NOT WANT PEOPLE TRYING TO CHECK OUT THROUGH THIS WEBSITE, SO I SET THE PRICE AT 1 CENT. DUE TO BAD EXPERIENCES IN THE PAST, I DO NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS ANYMORE. RESERVATIONS ARE MADE WITH VENMO, ZELLE OR CASH APP. YOU WILL NEED TO CONTACT ME FOR THAT INFORMATION.
If you are still confused, here's an example of someone reserving a kitten:
Hi, my name is Reba and I would like to reserve Toonces (Let's pretend that Toonces cost $1000).
Ok, great, will you be using Venmo or Cash App?
I will be using Venmo.
Ok, my Venmo is da da da da da.
Just sent.
Thanks, I got it. I will mark Toonces reserved.
Yay. I will come pick up Toonces at 11:30 am on August 23rd, and I will pay the remaining $900 in cash.
Ok, perfect. See you then. Thank you .
Here's an example of someone who would NOT like to reserve, but still interested in purchasing a kitten, (you know -a kitten who is old enough to leave):
Hi. My name is Jo. I am very interested in Mario and Luigi. I notice that they are both ready to leave. Could I come by and see them, and choose which one I would like to purchase? I will bring cash.
Sure absolutely. Do you want to come today?
No. I have to hoe corn today, but I am free Wednesday at lunchtime.
Ok. You might want to text me Wednesday and make sure Mario and Luigi are still available, before you come.
Ok, not a problem. If they are sold, then there is a third kitten I have my eye on.
Sounds good. My address is da da da. We can text again on Wednesday with any updates, and maybe you can give me an eta.
Will do. Thank you Amy.

Pick out your kitten. Please give me their name when you contact me.
Which one is your house?
My address is 107 Woods View Court, Cedar Creek, TX 78612. Look for the school bus!
You can park in my driveway, on the curb of the street, or right in my front yard! You can text me and let me know you have arrived, but I probably already know. I have a loud watchdog, and many hidden alarms and cameras. (Don't worry the dog is kept indoors and cannot harm you). Many times, I will come out onto my porch before you ever exit your vehicle. Other times, I may be distracted, and you may need to knock on my door.
Do not worry. I live in a subdivision, (although out in the country) and my street does have traffic. We all have one acre in this subdivision, so neighbors are within sight on all sides. Relax, you will not be led down a creepy dirt road into complete and total solitude.
Ok ok ok, so my yard has a yellow school bus in it. I know (eyeroll) but hear me out. (Or... read me out?) The school bus is an emergency vehicle to evacuate cats. There are no cats living inside of the school bus. It is full of pet crates because we have it set up to evacuate cats quickly. Some cats do not get along, so we cannot just shove all the cats together onto a school bus and shut the door. That is why we have to use crates during transport. Emergencies may include wildfires, or any mad max scenario. If the SHTF, and we need to flee, we do not want to just abandon our cats. My husband said he will move the school bus in the back yard so I can decorate for Christmas, and I am like.. Oh yes, thank you. Probably won't happen, though.
I hope you bring a carrier for your new kitten, but if not, don't worry. I do sell them for $25 and up. If you are able to just hold your kitten all the way home, then that's fine, too. I've even had customers pick up their kitten in big plastic storage bins before.
You will receive your kitten's health record card, stating the kitten's vaccination and deworming record. It also states their date of birth, so please keep up with it. You will need their date of birth for future vet visits.
My store is a little cabin located on the side of my driveway. It has many cat supplies you may want to buy. If you would like to buy food, litter, beds, toys, collars, bowls, harnesses, carriers, or clothes for your kitten before you leave, let me know. I, myself, or "we" both can run in there real quick and get you fixed up with supplies. That way you do not have to stop at the store on your way home. Just let me know what you need and I can help you.
1/4/25: Update: The store is closed, and has been moved to my backyard and converted into a she shed. So I've been slowly giving away my inventory of supplies free with each kitten, until I get rid of it all. If you need any kitten supplies, please ask. Chances are I have it.

This is kinda old but if you want a quick reply, here are some helpful things to know:
(Oh, and one hint, not mentioned below, is... If you MENTION A KITTEN BY NAME. That always gets my attention.)
- Please do not contact me to negotiate on price. Just because a kitten may be the last from it's litter does not mean that it is worth less. It just means nobody has picked it yet. I do not have any deals where if you buy two, you magically get a discount on the second.
- Deposits are non-refundable. This is why I quit taking PayPal because some lady decided she didn't want a kitten after all and went and had paypal just take her deposit right back out of my account, never telling me one word about it. I only want your deposit if you are committed and serious about adopting a kitten. I reserve the right to refuse selling to anyone that gets on my nerves. For example, If you ask for a picture or video of your kitten all the time, or ask to come visit your kitten, (or hell, I've even had one guy ask if he could take his kitten on an outing,) Some people think they are just super special I guess. This will not do. I will refund your deposit to you and sell the kitten to someone else. I favor easy going customers more than you know.
- Do not call me, but text me at 512-410-9333 because it's easier for me to ignore those who break rule #1. I have had 30 min conversations with the oddest people that ask me everything under the sun, then never buy a kitten. So since some like to argue about rule #4, rule #1, or think I'm running a loneliness hotline, I have quit taking calls from strangers. Sorry.
- Make sure you are able to pick up your kitten by (or before) it's take home date. I do not want to keep your kitten here until it is a teenager. I don't care what the internet says. I know my mama cats, and I know when their milk goes bad. And I don't want my kitten getting too attached to me, when I have to hand it over to you.
- Be on time. You get to pick the time you come, so please be here promptly at the time you tell me you will be here. Kittens are prepped and ready, waiting for you when you arrive. If you are late, this smooth transition gets very stressful for the kitten and especially for me ....(Because I have things to do). So be on time, customer, and please pay your remaining balance due in cash.
- If you have found me from my Craigslist ad, congratulations. I never reply to Craigslist emails, but instruct people to contact me here, through my website. So, thank you for visiting and I hope to help you find your perfect kitten.

Welcome to Health Talk with Kittenberry Castle Cattery:
Thank you for visiting my website. So let's chat about a few topics regarding the health of your kitten, shall we? Under no circumstances should you allow your kitten to be allowed to roam outdoors. They are by nature very delicate creatures with no real natural defense systems. These kittens are the ultimate indoor pet and therefore ill-equipped to handle the germs, natural and chemical enemies that he or she may find outside. That includes some of the vaccines on the market, as well. Vaccines can cause many health problems for your kitten/cat. Vaccines affect the immune system, rendering your kitten/cat less able to fight off things that come around at the groomer or the vet’s office or even at your house. Here at Kittenberry Castle, we have built up years and years worth of antibodies in this house just by cats constantly being exposed to germs and developing strong immune systems. This amazing ability of the body healing itself, is built within all of us, by God. That being said, some vaccines can cause autoimmune diseases such as lupus, red cell aplasia, autoimmune hemolytic anemia cardiomyopathies; neoplasia's such as fibro-sarcomas, mast cell tumors, thyroid tumors, inflammatory bowel disease, eczematous ears, dermatological conditions, warts, lipomas, poor hair coats, stomatitis, periodontal disease, thyroid disease, and even death. Please remember, cats have managed to live for hundreds of years without any vaccinations at all. We do administer their first round of kitten shots. What are kitten shots? They are the core vaccinations that will protect your kitten from the most common diseases: feline distemper (panleukopenia), feline viral rhinotracheitis (feline herpes virus 1), and calicivirus. After you take the kitten home, you will THEN be responsible for getting them a booster round of "kitten shots" at age 12 weeks from your own vet. After that, they really will not need any more shots, living safely inside of your home. Think about it. The risk of getting all of these willy-nilly vaccines for something that your kitten will not even be exposed to, is not worth the health risk. Their best defense is just good nutrition, clean water/environment, and lots of love. Now, I do understand that Texas State Law requires a rabies vaccination before any pet surgery, including Spay/ Neuter surgery. However, please do not go and get their rabies shot updated every year. And if your groomer requires a rabies shot updated each year, find another groomer. Even some vets will "forget" to give the rabies shot, if you know what I mean. Your cat is not going to be outside playing with raccoons, is it? In short, The potential for adverse reaction to any/all vaccines, especially Feline Leukemia, FIP and the Rabies Vaccines is higher than average in Persian and Ragdoll cats and especially kittens. We recommend two baby shots and that’s it for the rest of their lives! We do not feel they need to administer a rabies shot since they are indoor cats. Should the rabies shot be required, we recommend that you at least wait until they are big enough to handle a full dosage of Rabies vaccine: which is when they are about 6-8 pounds, minimum. Kittens die from Kidney and Heart failure all the time 30-45 days after the rabies shot but you will never be told this by the same vet that just injected your cat. Your vet should provide you with the insert for any inoculations that you consider giving your cat, not the flyer but the INSERT. If death and organ failure is listed as a risk, well.. you have been warned. Ok? So vaccinate at your own risk. Vets and vet techs, are taught (indoctrinated) to push these vaccines to your pet. Do you ever hear of a healthy cat getting sick out of the blue, and the vet scratches their head trying to explain why this happened? Guess what they ALWAYS say.. Yeah, they were probably born with it and inherited from their parents. Then guess who the first person is to get blamed? The breeder!!! Yes, when vets do not have the answers, they will always say the kitten inherited from the parent. When the kitten was perfectly fine before being injected. I do not know if I can type this, but think along the lines of B ig P har ma -except for pets, instead. Just use discernment and be cautious. Remember, veterinarians make their living off of sick animals. It's job security for them to have you running in every year for a vaccine that your pet does not even need. Just like the flouride gel my dentist told me to rub on my teeth every night before bed, jacked up my teeth even worse.
Kittenberry Castle guarantees each kitten to be healthy at the time of purchase. I am not going to send you home with a kitten that is deathly ill. If for any reason you the buyer feels as if the kitten is not well, then the kitten must be vet-checked within 72 hours of you receiving him/her. If the buyer feels that the kitten is too ill and wants a return, a copy of a vet exam should be submitted to Kittenberry Castle within the first 72 hours of receiving the kitten. If it is found that there is a health concern, the buyer has 48 hours after the veterinary exam in which to ask for a kitten replacement. This request must accompany a letter from the veterinarian stating why the kitten’s health is in question. Now every case is different, but for the most part... There will be no cash refunds. If your kitten dies within first 6 months, I the breeder will replace the kitten with a similarone of equal value, upon being provided an autopsy report which shows the cause of death. Texas A&M provides autopsies for $150 and will determine cause of death in a quick turn around. This is required for any/all replacements. Their website shows how to submit an animal for evaluation. The breeder is not required to replace the kitten with the exact color or pattern. There will be no cash refunds. Breeder will not be responsible for any of the shipping costs, either. The necropsy report must be from a licensed veterinary pathologist stating unquestionably a genetic or congenital defect. This necropsy report is at the buyer’s sole expense.
For example, one girl picked up her reserved kitten. She got home and after having him 24 hours, contacted me and said the kitten wouldn't eat. I offered her advice over the phone of tricks and treats to get the kitten to eat. (I've seen this kitten eat with my own eyes). Yet, the girl was heavily indoctrinated and felt she shouldn't have to give extra effort towards the kitten. She was a very busy young girl, and just basically wanted him to take care of himself. So, since she had only had him for less then 72 hours, I said, please bring him back and get your money back. I could tell if I didn't get that kitten away from her, it would starve to death. Thankfully I got him back and discontinued all future business with her. Even after giving her full refund plus her deposit back to her, she still went on google and left me a horrible review. You just can't please some people. So you see, every case is different. I love to help people and I tell ya I will get convicted if I feel I am not being fair with someone. At the same time, though, I do not want to be taken advantage of. I might have been born at night, but it wasn't last night. If a customer has buyer's remorse after buying a kitten, they will come up with any excuse they can to get their money back. I have been doing this for over 10 years and I've seen it all. It takes all kinds of different people to make this world go around. I love every one of them, but I'm not going to let them cheat me, either.
Your kitten will have been dewormed and had the appropriate kitten vaccinations for their age and size before they leave. I already went over that. The kitten’s health is primary so we are gentle with their care. This is including flea treatments, which contain neuro toxins and can make little kittens sick. Wait until they get bigger before you go using that stuff on their little bodies. I would rather wash the fleas off of them with a bath of Dawn dish soap, if they were to ever have any. Please do not give a 3rd set of vaccinations in its first year or vaccinate for Feline Leukemia at any time! Just trust me, don't do it. Kittenberry Castle agrees to provide a complete record of all deworming and vaccinations of the kitten for you to take home. Kittenberry Castle will not be responsible for any adverse reactions to future vaccines after you take your kitten home. Please take care to not do more than one procedure at any given time to these babies. There is however, an expectation that all of our kittens will receive proper veterinary care when/if they were to get sick. This is part of owning pets and becomes you "the buyer’s" sole responsibility. In other words, I am not paying for your vet visits. Just always remember, some vaccines can make kittens sick, so vaccinate at your own risk. We do not recommend that you give multiple shots at one time. These kitties are very delicate (as are all babies) and too many shots in one day can make them ill, even fatally (search ‘adverse reactions to vaccines in cats’ online for more info). Therefore, please wait to give Rabies vaccine until after 4 months of age, if you must. Do not inoculate for FIP and/or FeLV, as your kitten should be an inside cat only, we feel that these vaccinations arejust too risky.
Also, think twice about declawing! It is the removal of the entire fingers for these babies. Youch! It can affect their future behavior and temperament. Plus it is just mean. It is the removal of all of their toes. Youch!! You can trim their nails with a nail clipper (just the pointy tips) and they will be less likely to scratch. Also you can try putting out a scratching post out for them, and it will keep them from scratching up your furniture. God gave them their claws. Spay/Neutering should be done around 5 months of age – especially before puberty (or age 7 months) to avoid spraying in males. This breeder reserves the right of refusal to (sell) rehome a kitten or cat to anyone, if red flags are observed in the buyer. For example, if your intentions for the cat is to breed, I will probably not sell to you. Why would McDonalds give Burger King their recipes? If you stress me out as a buyer, I will not do business with you. This includes asking me for pictures too much, and interrupting my day to day life with questions easily obtained from a simple Google search. I am not Google. Mainly, it is when a customer gets hyper focused on getting their kitten . They get to the point to where they are obsessed, and contact me almost daily to ask how the kitten is doing. That is called ..getting on my damn nerves, and I will refund your deposit, and tell you to shop somewhere else. As far as food goes, I have tried all the big brands over the past 10+ years. There is one food that kittens always LOVE to eat, and digest well, and that is Purina One Healthy Kitten dry kibble. My second choice would be Royal Canin Babycat. Not the Royal Canin kitten food, but the Babycat food. Also their Persian kitten food is ok. All other brands, my kittens turn their nose up at. So, you can experiment with your kitten after taking it home, and give it all the fancy food you want. But as for me and my house, we use the Purina One Healthy Kitten. So, anyways... Good chat.

Good chat.
Oops. You have stumbled upon a hidden gallery of cat photos and images. Basically, I dumped my recycle bin here from my computer's photo album, so you are looking through my trash.
